Development completed on Eddison Avenue in Dorchester
It’s a beautiful day on Eddison Avenue in Dorchester where we’ve just handed over four new modular homes to our client Magna Housing Ltd. These two and three-bedroom homes are a short walk away from Dorchester town centre. Two of the houses will be offered for sale as affordable housing on shared ownership terms while the other two are available for social rent – and tenants have already started to move in! The three-bed mid-terrace houses feature: The two-bed end-of-terrace houses feature: Access to the former garage site behind Eddison Avenue was challenging thanks to particularly narrow access roads, but our skilled installation team overcame all the obstacles and achieved a very smooth installation and completion of this development. Working in partnership with Magna Housing, Wiltshire Council, Taylor Lewis and the South West Procurement Alliance, we’re committed to addressing the housing crisis in the South West. Through the SWPA’s Offsite Construction of New Homes framework our aim is to build nearly 1,000 new modular homes between 2022 and 2025.
