Rollalong is proud to be working with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) on a programme to modernise and standardise Lifeboat Shore Facilities across the UK and Ireland. Together, we are developing a pattern-book approach to help the charity deliver efficient, sustainable, and consistent facilities for its lifesaving crews and operational teams.
As part of this initiative, Rollalong is constructing a full-scale demonstrator module that reflects the design principles and performance standards of the new pattern book. The module will be temporarily installed at the RNLI headquarters in Poole, Dorset, allowing lifeboat stations to experience the available design options. It will then be relocated to a permanent coastal site.
The Lifeboat Shore Facility pattern-book design will provide a consistent, replicable blueprint for future sites, enabling the RNLI to deliver new facilities more quickly, cost-effectively, and sustainably.
